This is a strategic project for Statoil that will implement Best Practices to the global organization. Statoil will merge extensive experience and knowledge from the operations on the Norwegian Continental Shelf along with the proactive methodology implemented in Intrapoint's Crisis Manager Solution. The implementation project will serve as a platform to review and improve Statoil emergency response plans, the internal organizational awareness and level of overall emergency handling. This will result in numerous strategic benefits with associated value.
The Solution
The selection encompasses an implementation of Intrapoint's Crisis Manager solution as well as a Service Level Agreement for a hosted software operation. The solution will contain Statoil’s Best Practises based on longstanding experience and expertise from their challenging operating environment. Crisis Manager is an industry-leading incident and crisis management software solution which covers all phases of incidents/crisis from planning, training, alert notification, to action and normalization. The suite of products is tailored to minimize the effects of a crisis, being physical, environmental, financial, product-related or reputational.
